Scholarship Luncheon

Your Affiliates Board Members send this invitation to our annual Affiliates Scholarship Luncheon.

• In past years, attendees have experienced this as a joyful social event where we celebrate the vibrancy of our intelligent and deserving scholarship recipients.
• Secondly, through meeting these students, we effectively renew our commitment to the UCSC financial aid and scholarship effort.
• This program helps assure that UCSC continues to grant degrees to a broad spectrum of highly qualified future leaders.

Our annual meet the scholarship recipients luncheon gives us an opportunity to have a one on one conversation with these most deserving students.

• We often learn about their growing up and their motivation to go to college.
• More than likely, they come from homes where they are the first in their family to attend college.
• The scholarships they receive from The Affiliates and other sources, give them the opportunity to fulfill their dream of a college education.

This annual luncheon is a most rewarding experience for us and we hope it gives the students a greater sense of a supportive community.
