October 2016 - The Quarry Tour

Fortunately, our tour was led by Linda Navone, a 30 year UCSC staff person and one who happens to be deeply involved in the Quarry Amphitheater renewal project.

The restoration will include improved access and facilities.

UCSC students love this space and many were there during our visit:

• Playing guitar
• Chatting with friends
• Eating lunch

The future of the Quarry will provide a 2000-seat venue for students and summertime third party events to be shared by the entire community.

Walking the campus is always a beautiful experience and a great way to maintain a sense of partnership with UCSC.
